Since 1984, the Mississauga Youth Orchestra has provided young musicians with many opportunities to perform in the symphony orchestra, the concert strings or the chamber strings.

Led by a group of first class music directors, conductors, sectional coaches, managers and a volunteer board, our young musicians engage in the art and discipline of the orchestral tradition.  We strive for excellence in music and contribute to the cultural life of our community.

Each season includes 3 or 4 major concerts. Some years may include orchestral festivals at the provincial or national level.
